    1. Proposed undergraduate program change for the College of Education and Health Professions, Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation – PPHED – Teaching K-12 Physical Education & Health (Pre-Teaching K-12 Physical Education & Health) presented by Paul Calleja.

      CIED 1013 added as alternative to PHED 1003.

      Adding CIED 1013 as an alternative to PHED 1003 will provide PHED students with more flexibility in any given semester to complete the introductory course requirement.

      Removal of the Praxis 1 requirement.

      The state no longer requires students in teacher education programs to take and earn passing scores on the Praxis 1 exam, so the PHED faculty have decided to remove this requirement (4a_pphed_report_09242021).

      The Master of Design Studies degree is multidisciplinary with students from architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design professionals accepted into the program. As a post professional degree, the integration of complex systems within the built environment is foundational to all of the degree concentrations.       Change the total hours for the MBA programs to include all concentrations ranging from 38-51 hours.
      Reference a standard Graduate School of Business admissions policy by directing to a central catalog page.
      Include the option for early admission to the FT MBA concentration as an Accelerated MBA student. Allow for up to 18
      hours of non-degree out of career graduate coursework while an undergraduate student.
