Norm Dennis called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m.

1. The minutes for the February 24, 2017 meeting were approved.
   
   
2. Course Change Proposals:
   All course change proposals were approved without opposition.  The approved courses are listed on the CIM Course Report created by CourseLeaf and will be forwarded for consideration as appropriate to the:
   • Faculty Senate, meeting scheduled for April 12, 2017 
   • Graduate Council meeting scheduled for April 20, 2017
     
     
3. Old Business: 
   None
   
   
4. New Business:
   All program change proposals were approved on the CIM Program Report without opposition.  The program changes will be forwarded for consideration as appropriate to the:
   • Faculty Senate, meeting scheduled for April 12, 2017 
   • Graduate Council meeting scheduled for April 20, 2017
     
     
   1. Proposed graduate program change for the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation, RESMME – Recreation and Sport Management, Master of Education (4_RESMME Report) was presented by Steve Dittmore. 
      
      
   2. Addition of RESM 5293 - Athletics and Higher Education - to core requirements reflects types of students enrolled in degree program.
      
      
   3. Addition of RESM 5853 -Capstone in RESM - to core requirements reflects desire of program to have a capstone-style course for all students.
      
      
   4. Changing preferred GPA for admission from 3.00 to 3.2 on last 60 hours of undergraduate degree.
      
      
5. Additional items/Announcements:
   
   
   1. Center for the Study of Representation – deletion (5a_CSOR – Admin Unit Deletion – Ltr of Notification, 5a_Study of Representation – Closing Document).
