    2. Proposed undergraduate program change for the Walton College of Business, college Wide graduation Requirement: Walton College General Education Elective Requirements (Table One, Attachment 1B) was presented by Karen Boston. The proposal requested to change the current general education elective requirements for Walton College students. In the previous curriculum which required 16 hours of General Education Electives, many students utilized these hours to pursue a minor in the Fulbright College (15-21 hours). Upon development of courses such as WCOB 3043, Books to Boardroom and FINN 1003, Your Money and Credit, the Undergraduate Programs Committee recommended exceptions to incorporate these courses into the General Education Elective category. As other courses emerge that may not necessarily be viable junior/senior elective credit, the Walton College has agreed to allow up to six total hours of business courses to meet requirements in this category. The proposal was unanimously approved and will be forwarded for consideration at the September 2014 Faculty Senate meeting.
